Evolution is a two day music Festival celebrating the remarkable talents of some of New Zealand's most established and promising music producers. Coupled with a serene natural landscape and a fully fitted outdoor audio-visual production the Evolution experience has been long overdue - but the wait is now over!

With 25 dj's from all over NZ you'll get to sample nothing but the highest quality tunes from the worlds of drum and bass, dubstep, hip hop and the experimental inbetween. Leaving no sense untouched visual stimuli will be presented by two of Auckland's finest visual technicians over the two days.

We encourage you to bring sunscreen, all-weather clothing and a tent to set up camp so that you can fully enjoy the Evolution experience!

Having impressed on their sold-out UK tour at the end of last year, groundbreaking crossover dance band Pendulum return home in April with their full live band experience: The tour coincides with the release of their second album ‘In Silico’.

Their debut album, ‘Hold Your Colour’, has now sold in excess of 200,000 copies. ‘In Silico’ is Pendulum’s first album for Warner Bros. Records via the band’s Ear Storm imprint and features the recent single ‘Granite’. A second single entitled ‘Propane Nightmares’ will further preview the album when it’s released on April 14^th.

This has been posted in the forum for a while, but thought it worth putting here for those of you who aren't members. The Gathering was a special outdoor New Years Eve festival held on the amazing Canaan Downs site for about 7 years. It's now gone, but its spirit lives on in almost every pocket of dance music culture in New Zealand. For those of you that were there or that missed out, make sure you check the documentary of the 97/98 Gathering at the gathering archives.
