The Dawn Collectiv, who self proclaim they are 'a collective of artists who share a likeminded dreams and aspirations' - have put together a sweet video that can be used to explain the madness that was The Upbeats 'Primitive Techniques' Album tour. This particular video came from the Christchurch event that was put on by Bass Freaks. Nice work all involved.
One of my favourite Wellington DJ's is hanging up his headphones! It'll be a real pity to not have him behind the decks anymore, but he is going out in one last hurrah - Make sure to check out JMC's Final set - the 15th June @ Sandwiches.https://www.facebook.com/events/524834664221201/..Read the full post..
Fresh from SOM Music, is the 2nd full length album by TREi, kiwi producer of the highest calibre - titled 'Satellites'. One of Bassdrops longest standing members, RQ, a great designer in his own right, is also a fantastic producer of ambient and atmospheric bass music. With all his hard work, he's been noticed by ASC's label, Auxiliary - and has the very awesome opportunity to release a full length LP of his beats. 4 Original tunes with 5 amazing remixes are included on the LP, and its something I would recommend for bass music lovers.
