I recall when this mix came out, it was a huge deal for NZ drum and bass, because we got one of the biggest NZ DJs to have a mix with fresh and relevant tunes on the cover of a very popular Dance music magazine. State of Mind have released their recent Homegrown live set free to the world, and this is easily the Bassdrop Mix of the Week.
Their set was hosted by MC Woody, and features many reworks of their most popular tracks, such as Real McCoy, MindSlicer and Back to the Jungle.

"I decided that I should actually use some of the records in my spare room for once... so thought I might do some mixes in my limited spare time! Here is with a few tunes from 1997 that I pretty much love. No real planning apart from grabbing a few bits from that year... and it ended up being quite dark in the end - with a few exceptions!"
