For Rhys Grosvenor, aka DJ Static, Rumble in the Jungle had always been a case of always being the bridesmaid, but never the bride. It would be easy to forgive him for never entering the competition again. In 2012 however, he put all that behind him on Saturday, 15 September at the San Francisco Bath House, and he immortalised his name as winner of the Rumble trophy for 2012. He beat out nine other champions in what was a tough competition.

From the roots of UK jungle and dnb to 2012 and beyond bass music the legendary Photek has constantly been evolving the original blueprint with his innovative sound. Now in 2012 he finally makes his long overdue and much anticipated debut New Zealand appearance. In Auckland Friday 7th and Wellington Saturday 8th of September.
